Sometimes the only thing that stands between a pet losing its happy home or remaining in it is the help of a stranger.
With foster care groups and shelters in deep crisis for space to house abandoned dogs and funds to support them, they are usually unable to answer the call for help from a pet mom who is recovering from surgery and needs help with her dog until she returns home; from the military personnel leaving for temporary deployment to a region where they can’t take their dog; from the responsible pet dad who has fallen on hard times and needs a little help with the cost of vetting his dog to keep her healthy.
Keeping these families intact is our mission at ARF. We provide dogs with temporary, free shelter in one of our guardian homes until the pet parent is able to care for them again. We will help with expenses while Dog Dad gets back on his feet. We will provide forever foster care for senior dogs who have little hope for adoption due to their age. Our goal is to keep pets in their homes – but when that isn’t possible to give them a beautiful new life.
We are committed to filling the gaps other rescue groups are unable to fill – but this comes at great cost. Your donations will help us cover veterinary and daily expenses for the dogs in our temporary and permanent care. Please consider helping us help them by donating any amount you can spare.
